Lauren Traub Teton, founder of Twifties, the FUN people in their late 40s and up, is on a media crusade to share her word "Twifties," derived from "fifty is the new twenty. "Twenty,  fifty, TWIFTY!"

The trademarked word "Twifties" has appeared in "More" Magazine, is defined in the Urban Dictionary and Wordnik online, and produces over 50 pages of results on Google for "Twifties."

Ms. Teton is experienced and successful as a talk show guest, having appeared on over 20 radio shows as a snowboard journalist during the Winter Olympics in February 2010, to explain the snowboard events to the general public

Ms. Teton is appearing in the media on radio, tv, print, and internet to spread the Twifties word.
Twifties Winter Games 2011 were held at Wachusett Mountain in MA and Twifties Winter Games 2010 at Ski Sundown, CT for ski and snowboard racers age 50 and up, producing over 15 pages of results on Google. More to come!

About Twifties
* 50 is the new 20!

* The biggest group of "Baby Boomers" were 12 years old or younger when Woodstock happened.

Ms. Teton says "we used to have fun when we were young, and people should strive to have more fun than they might be having now. Especially now! Fun should happen every week, or more often! It is one of the stepping stones on the path to a fulfilling life. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs lists 'self actualization' at the tippy top of the pyramid, and that's where fun would be found and why it is so important!" says Ms. Teton.

"I am striving to create the most fun job in the world for myself" says Ms. Teton. "I think I've figured out that part of it is covering lively music and sporting events as a journalist, and making hosted videos of them that make you feel like you're there.
