Which came first, the fact that there are very few movies made to appeal to the demographic born around 1956, or the fact that we stopped going to the movies? My guess is that... coming from one of the greatest movie-going demographics of all time, we would go to the movies if there was something to see besides cartoons,Smurfs.horror, and mutants.
"Going in Style" would be a movie I'd see. but heck, its stars are 79 to 84 years old. If Alan Arkin's son Adam was in it instead, it would star someone from my birth year 1956, one of the biggest of the baby boom.
